OT For My Friends...

Jeremiah 29: 11-13 (English-NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to
prosper you and not
to harm you, plans to give you hope hope and a future.
12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will
listen to you.
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

You doing all right lately Richard? It seems like your medication has
been adjusted too strongly.

Anyway, prayer is good and you will always gain more serenity and peace
by seeking to enhance your relationship with God. While you're at it
also pray for our leaders that they may make the proper judgements in
dealing with the issues of the day.

Always count on BGM for a small serving of compassion with a huge side
helping of character assassination.

LR, you do seem more serene. Did the doc get you on proper medication?

We wish you well and take the meds as prescribed, don't miss any doses.

Hey!! I'm serious about this.

And they say Conservatives are not compassionate. You're a fine
example of a benevolent human being. Acting in the behalf of the well
being of others is a hallmark of compassionate conservatism.

I suspect the character assination contained a huge helping of
tongue-in-cheek.

Re: OT For My Friends...

I'm glad Learning Richard is back. He has, perhaps, the greatest
mind among us.

I remember one time asking, "Who is Learning Richard suppose to
be: Dick Cheney?"

I think the meaning of my question was interpreted wrongly. I didn't
realize "Learning Richard" was suppose to be an actual name! I thought

it was intended as a political statement--something like
"Teaching Dick" as in "Teaching Dick Cheney!"

Or "Schoolin' Dick Cheney." Learnin' him something.

Well, anyway, it's always a pleasure reading what Learning Rich
has to say.

It's entertainment, that's for sure. A "pleasure" is a bit over the top
though.

"Learning" Richard is an oxymoron.

Learning is very intelligent. Extremely sharp. A bit too emotional
at times, maybe, but he provides us with much needed perspectives.

Thanks Rich.

No doubt he is very intelligent. The point is he's become so smart he
has nothing left to learn.

One would not know that by the stuff Richard says though.
