I believe the knock sensor has a single wire connected, so if the engine
wire harness side of the connector is missing, just use an insulated bullet
or spade connector. If the engine wire harness connector is OK, then use
spade connectors that fit inside the factory connector. Another approach is
to back the spade connections inside the wire harness connector out of the
plastic housing so that you have loose spade connections. Save the plastic
housing so that you can return it back to it original state if you replace
parts later.
If you cannot find a replacement VSV, use the same trick for the knock
sensor wiring, then solder the wire to the VSV contacts or try something
like DevCon.
