Ya know, if *I* were the 14 year old, I'd be going Whooo Hoooo!!!

However, I originally started my career wanting to be a psychologist.
Don't ask me why, but after three years, I switched to electronics.

My best friend in college is currently working at Bridgewater State
Hospital/Prison where they put the Sex Offenders.

I caught 3 minutes this morning on the Today show, where she said, "He
wanted it so I gave it to him".

Could you *even* imagine what would happen if a MAN said that about a 14
year old girl?!?!?!

Here in Mass, we have this nifty little thing called Civil Commitment.
If you have committed a sex crime, esp against children, they send you
to Bridgewater. You are interviewed by psychologists, and then get your
chance to go before the review board. Two things happen at the review
hearing:

They decide what Level you will be registered as as a Sex Offender, and
if they feel you are a level 3 (the worst...almost certain to reoffend)
then they decide if you even GET OUT! Yes, Civil Commitment...if you are
deemed unfit to rejoin society they can keep you INDEFINITELY. That's his
job; to treat the sex offenders during their stay at Bridgwater, and then
to present his findings to the rest of the board and help determine how
you get out, *IF* you get out!!!

This woman would have sealed her fate with a statement like that! No Way!
She wouldn't even be let out as a Level 3!!!! They would have just turned
her around and walked her back to her cell!

The fact she can even get on National TV and say such a thing shows how
much of a danger to society she really is.

And I'm sure the only reason she's not eating biscuits and gravy twice a
week for lunch is because she's cute.

I would have given her 5 years right off the bat, and if I were on the
review board and heard her say that, then she already blew her first
hearing. Her next chance would be anywhere from 2-5 years, depending on
how backed up they get.

A governor of Massechusetts once said:

"A public office is a public trust."

Do you know which one and what he was talking about? <g>
