*yawn* <g> Now, if he had big plans affecting water softeners in
hybrids, I might be interested. In a non-political way, natch.

The jokes would improve over the tired groaners that senators now tell.
What's wrong with Franklin? Betcha don't really know -- real life
know, not Scott World know. ;)
Showbiz actually has a track record of producing fairly good
politicians, probably because everybody who succeeds in the field did
so through talent and hard work, as opposed to fraternization, lying,
and inheritence.

Really, what's wrong with him? If all you can do is keep calling him a
jackass, then you must not know any specifics about him.

That is your assessment because... why? Attributes which led you to this
conclusion are: (fill in the blanks time)

He's a radio talk show host and standup comedian.
Why would you think Franken would make a good senator?

What's right with him? I'll ask the same question to you. Why would
you think that Al Franken the talk show host and standup comedian/author
would make a good senator?

I don't know if he would. I know from the little I've read of his writings,
that I usually agree w/his views, though.
