You should ignore the response from anyone who claims to know exactly what
is causing the problem unless they have looked at your vehicle first hand
and had a volt meter and ammeter on the vehicle while the condition
occurred.
On the other hand, there are some common causes of the condition, and so one
can check certain components while the condition manifests itself. I would
check the starter relay, battery, battery cables (including clamps and
ground connections), starter, and ignition switch, in that order.
