Are you just realizing this now? What does this say about the party
that chose her as their leader?

Oh sure, she's so much more horrific than that overstuffed idiot Hastert,
who can't find his ass with a roadmap, let alone discover a pedophile under
his nose, while the rest of DC knows about Foley's predeliction for young
pages.
Nonsense!

And who would that be?
I heard an ad on the radio for something similar to this, something to the
effect of a "cover up" (Um, who was covering up?! You have to KNOW about
something before you can cover it up!!)
Not sticking up for the guy by any means! He should go to jail for sure!
But people are taking great leaps and bounds here pointing fingers, when
there really shouldn't be any fingers to point!

I don't really like Hastert _or_ Pelosi, but that's just me. :-)

I wish she and Harry would get on their boxes, get some face time on TV
and let the nation know what they have in store for us when they take
over control of congress. On second thought, maybe that wouldn't be
such a good idea, for them.

Well, I will say the married Pelosi is not a True Hetero. She is a
Nominal Hetero. But as I don't discriminate between Nominals and Trues,
I will be excited to see her as Speaker of the House. And Hillary
Clinton as President. Hillary and Nancy will lead us out of the big
financial and military messes that "His Majesty Queen Bush" is responsible
for.
As I've said before, almost everybody in Congress is a Nominal
Hetero. Notable exceptions that immediately come to my mind right now
are Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine and Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney of
New York. They are both True Heteros.
But again, we're all humans. Nominal or True, it doesn't make a
difference. My only pause when it comes to the Nominal-True
dichotomy is that I won't marry a Nominal [chuckle]. But we're all
alike in every other way :-)

Now that is the biggest crock of BS I've heard in a long time.
You like paying more taxes then be my guest. Only I want the taxes to
be fair. Because I don't itemize anymore I don't want anybody to have
any deductions what so ever. A flat tax is the only way to go.

Pardon me, I meant to say New York Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy
is a True Hetero in Congress. I mistakenly said Carolyn "Maloney."
Both Carolyns--McCarthy and Maloney--are Democratic New York
Congresswomen, representing different districts.
McCarthy, a True Hetero, is the strong gun control advocate who has
represented her constituents since 1997.

Maybe there's some hope for you after all! (Neither do *I*! ;)
One thing I have to wonder about is why there are so few True
Heteros in Congress. Almost everybody there is a Nominal. I certainly
hope there's not a bias by Nominal Heteros against True Heteros.
But then, bias is rampant in our society. We see few women and
minorities in Congress, also. But it's nice to see things are
improving.
In fact, it's imperative to increase female participation
in Congress. Men have screwed things up for far, far too long [chuckle] :-)
