Trying to find some reason for losing the upcoming election?

While I may not agree with Scott that election day cheating is a
one-party problem, I do agree with the lawmakers in AZ that a photo-id
should be required at the polls.
A much larger problem, though, is the lack of a paper trail from purely
electronic voting machines. My county went from a perfectly good
solution (optical mark cards, that are electronically read but are
retained for a paper trail) to a computer-based system that is easily
hacked.

We are voting on an amendment in Florida that will REQUIRE a paper
trail on our electronic voting machines.
One needs a photo ID to rent a car or fly on a commercial aircraft, but all
the Dims in the US Congress are against requiring a photo ID to vote.
Hmmm, I wonder why? LOL

That's the first sensible thing you've said about politics.

There's no constitutional right to rent a car or fly by air.
There's also a prohibition against poll taxes, and unless photo IDs are
available at no charge, they're a poll tax.

As they did in the early 1960s with Operation Eagle Eye, where
Republican party workers dressed in police-like uniforms and
intimidated voters in South Phoenix. They'd introgate voters in line
about their literacy, knowledge of the US constitution, and even their
citizenship, and one of the organizers of this program was William
Rehnquist, future US Supreme Court Chief Justice.

There is no constitutional right to vote, either.

The machines in NY produce paper records. But, we're funny about things like
that here.

Based on literacy and knowledge of the constitution, the current president
would have felt nervous under that questioning.
