I would check the head real close for signs of wear at the points were the coolant passages
make sharp turns. I know it sounds weird but around here its so common the dealer seemed
to think it was typical for the engine in a heavy C&C truck.
Thing just sprung a tiny leak near the exhaust port were the heads all smooth. JB weld fixed it
for about 6 months until it sprung a new leak that was in the exhaust port.(just like the toy tech said it would)
Oh and It was not a lack of maintenance, but I'm sure 200,000 miles of maxi-RPM and the hard water here
had allot to do with it because I see commercial/industrial liquid pump housings wear thru also at work.
