Can we please dispense with all the bloviations from the right and left,
Republicans and Democrasts, about the upcoming election and how Christlike
or Devilish Bush is, and so on ad nauseum?
There are a few hundred newsgroups about US politics, and so, please use
them and free up a little space for questions and answers about Toyotas,
okay?

Wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun!
I said the same thing, and Scott gave me a prompt...

LOL! What was your first clue?
He'll get used to it...we all did.
Hell, he might even join the fray someday!

Well, I'm hoping the really ridiculous excess will die after the elections.
You know I'm not an OT-ranter, but even I've noticed an absurd increase in
political posts.

So why did you make your OT posts if they bother you so much.

I thought it was all about Toyotas *AND* all about politics...
Seriously, Toyotas fail so seldomly that we need something to keep
things interesting in here... if you don't like it... well, you get
what you pay for ;-)

You mean you actually read them? You must be in the minority.
They bother me because the arguments aren't of the somewhat 'friendly'
variety any more. They're vicious and mean spirited, and are not reasoned
and reasonable...and when someone calls me a coward or a limp-wristed
unAmerican, I spit the invective back at him, and that had made me sad to
admit my own lack of restraint in the matter. Anyway, I'd sooner talk
about Toyotas and leave the politics to the political newsgroups.

I got used to it, and joined in the fray quite often, but it's a waste of
time and thought...But I will be a lurker for sure next Wednesday morning,
when the blood is really flowing on the newsgroup, as well as the alligator
tears......whatever the results of the midterm elections are.
