I wasn't registered! Dammit, this is the third time this has happened to
me. Before they would look up my name and give me a 'pass', but this time
the lapse was too long!

Looks like Kennedy wins again! Arrrgggghhhhh!!!!

And, before any of you Democrats say how great he is, two items:

Move to Mass, or

You didn't get a provisional ballet? They can't prove you aren't
registered at the polling station. They can only prove that you are
registered; in the former case you should've gotten a provisional
ballet.

He is a limousine liberal. Never pays for anything out of his pocket.
When his mother passed away he claimed she was a citizen of Florida to
avoid probate and the onerous tax penalties that would have been due in
Massachusetts. A much nicer tax climate in Florida.
He is a real prince. Generous to a fault, with other peoples money.

Out of curiosity... since the Big Dig seems like a generally good idea to me
(as an occasional visitor to Boston, parkland seems preferable to a huge
artery separating the city's neighborhoods, esp. in such a walkable city)
*if* it were completed in a way that involved integrity (on more than the
physical front, from what little I've heard), where did it start to go
wrong? At what stage? With whom, or can't that easily be determined? In
all aspects, or just enough that it was compromised?

In his defense, I will admit, if you have a problem and no one else can
handle it, his staff makes the A-Team look like a bunch of idiots.

That is the ONLY thing I like about him (his staff).

Other than that, he has tried to give away the farm (look at his proposed
health-care plan), he is a Union wank, an alcohlic, and, uh, how do YOU
explain Chappaquiddick? Twenty-four hours before reporting he may have had
an accident?

Hasta la Victoria! (SP?) He supports rights for Illegal Aliens instead of
rounding them up (Let's see YOU Break the law and get away with it. Won't

One of our candidates for Governor, Christie Mihos (that is, MR. Mihos)
blew the whistle back in '96 or '98, saying the project was flawed, there
were engineering errors, and that the budget was bloated and padded. His
reward for calling it as he saw it? Being fired from the Turnpike
Authority by his Boss, Matt Amarello, who championed the project all along.

A good idea gone bad. And we here in the Western part of the state have
deteriorating roads and bridges, because all the money that would have
been used to fix tham whet into a hole in Boston Harbor that has been a
money pit. And School money. And Teacher's Salary money. And...
