The world is going mad, for about the eighth time this week. :-)
Well, he's correct to a point. With the emergence of the Democrats in
Congress this means the Iranians are GOING TO get their way more than
ever and they will absolutely be the dominant power in that part of the
world.

If they can get rid of their wacko president, this might not be such a bad
thing. Iran has a highly educated middle class, and the majority of them do
not want a lunatic heading their country. Without him or someone like him,
Iran might be the BEST choice for a dominant power in that part of the
world.

It is not the president of Iran who is crazy, it is the mullahs. He is
merely their mouthpiece and has no power whatsoever without the
blessing of the Supreme Commander. The people themselves have no
ability to rid themselves of these maniacs who easily will make them
dissapear forever rather than allow anyone to become a mouthpiece for
change.
I lived there during the revolution and I saw what they are capable of.
I also know how cagey and intelligent they are. If we had a more
capable Secretary of State who could stand up to them then we might
have a chance to leave Iraq as an ally of ours. Otherwise we might as
well kiss the Middle East and Israel goodbye soon.

Israel *should* be kissed goodbye. This is the country which intentionally
tried to sink one of our ships during the 6 day war, killing 30-ish people
in the process. They also executed Egyptian POWs because it was inconvenient
to manage them properly.

Nah...America went temporarily mad on Tuesday.
The good thing about America, is we can change things in two years.
From what I hear about the plans of the Dims....they are in for a
short reign....

I suspect nothing much will get done for the next two years except more
bickering and name calling. Maybe some investigations and more name
calling ect ect.

Grow some spine, asshole. In a war zone prisoners often die. Too. Fucking.
Bad.

I need to know why you need a cite. What year were you born in?

Umm, JoeSpareBedroom and DH, I'm all for Israel, Palestine,
and Iran living together in peace. I mean each has done bad things
to the others, but at some point, they need to live together in
harmony, and that day will come sooner if our country stops trying
to control all the oil in the Middle East and meddling in everybody's
affairs. Of course, Bush, Olmert, and the late Yasser Arafat are all
Nominal Heteros--not True Heteros, so that day of peace
might be kinda far off, unfortunately. You know what I
mean: Bush, Olmert, and Arafat were all married to women
but they really got excited when they saw dickie [chuckle]

Do you think that if we call them up and beg their forgivness, humbly
ask for a meeting and talk nice to them, offer a bunch of money and aid,
then everything will be ok, the terrorists will quit bothering us and
other countries, peace will reign in the mid East and the world will
live in harmonious splender once again for ever and ever?

Umm, JoeSpareBed, you were quite mean to the Israelis. I think
you need to apologize to them . And I say that being a Christian (well
I suppose I'm an atheist now).
Anyway, why is it that so many of those leaders over there and over
here are bi-sexual: Bush, Olmert, Arafat, that Iranian guy, too.
Dang, if we had some True Heteros running things, the world would
be a lot more peaceful place ;-) [lol
