Did you read the article? Edwards didn't go asking, a volunteer worker did
it without Edward's knowledge.

Scott holds articles in front of his face, and hopes a word or two will sink
in. It's not often successful, especially since he makes claims today which
are directly contradicted by an article he was raving about yesterday.
Re: OT Dim Edwards goes to Wal Mart for his new toy!
When I go shopping, I don't expect the store to publicly announce what I
purchased. More proof that Walmart is scum and has no respect for privacy.

But Art, you aren't a national political figure who has used his power
against the Walmart company. If I were them I'd be pasting it all over
the place and hope he never returns.

ROFLMAO
Are you one of those scum libs that are on Wal Mart for no good
reason?

Let's see....this is the same Wal Mart which was cited (in Oregon, IIRC) for
locking fire exits at night to prevent theft by employees. Illegal.
Dangerous.

There are plenty of good reasons for conservastives to complain about
Wal*Mart.
I have to admit I am somewhat of a hypocrite when it comes to Wal*Mart. I
hate their business practices, the stores are often dirty, messy and the
workers sullen. But.....I go there all the time because it is convenient and
I figure they have what I am looking for (although it is probably of low
quality). I am not a price conscious shopper, so Wal*Mart's over stated
claims about their low prices aren't the reason. It mostly because I can't
get to another store with the same stuff without driving past at least one
Wal*Mart. Fortunately I have a nice clean grocery store with mostly
satisfied workers within a few blocks of my home so I don't have to shop for
groceries at Wal*Mart. And one more rant about Wal*Mart - it seems like most
other companies have figured out how to install self service scanner that
actually work while at Wal*Mart they are a total disaster. This is probably
because Wal*Mart bought from the lowest cost supplier without actually
making sure they had a decent product.

So what is more likely - Volunteer worker seeking to get attention from
Edwards tries to get a PS3 from Wal*Mart without Edward's knowledge, or
Edwards, having just attacked Wal*Mart at a rally, sends an underling out to
get a PS3 from them?
Edwards is not at the top of my list for anything, but he is not an idiot
either.

First thing the 'toy' is expensive.
Second thing...volunteers probably don't have the money.
Third thing....it was Edwards that ordered the toy...

I have exactly the opposite opinion.
The stores around here are very clean.
The workers are for the most part very friendly.
The quality of the merchandise is just fine.
Now I know a store in Mass that is a disaster...maybe it is a location
thing?
Re: OT Dim Edwards goes to Wal Mart for his new toy!
Yeah Ed, they really stink, that's why they are the biggest company in
the world.

Dude.
Edwards is a hillbilly from North Carolina. He has VOCs circulating in
his blood from the friggen textile mills. He earned his WalMart pass.
So what if he uses it? Hell... they're taking an ass whuppin, and that
old dude who advocated WalMart practices the economist guy just died
anyway. So his economic policies are going the way of low-carb diets,
and good riddance!
