We never saw that when the Republicans were picking their leaders in
Congress. Never mind the allegations. They've been rendered
irrelevant to the discussion, and leadership on the hill is still
intact.
The mood has been -- "oh, they'll resolve it, we'll watch, and it will
be dispenced with", and The Minority Party has kept a keen and welcome
eye on the Majority.
Consider THIS:
It took two administrations, and over 500 DAYS of whistle blowing by
The Democratic Party - and their elected officials - before Tom DeLay
and Jack Abramoff were brought down, thus spawning the head-on
collision with the fractured meteor that is Justice For Megalomaniacs.
Pieces have landed all over the world from The Gulf States to The Gulf
States. Larger chunks have landed on the Iron-Clad Capitol, witness the
First WOMAN Speaker Of The House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The biggest
chunk hasn't landed yet... if this is what it appears to be. Isn't it
nice to see government exposed for a change?
