Re: Motor Trend names Camry Car of the Year

I bought one of those for one of my grand children, for college. It rode
nice and was good on gas but way underpowered, like many of today Jap cars.
One needed to 'row' it up the grades around here. Back and forth between
4th, 3rd, and 2nd, and back again, to stay up to the speed limit. Like a
Jap motorcycle, it was only worth half of what it cost new when I sold it,
two years later LOL

Re: Motor Trend names Camry Car of the Year

The big feature of the car were the front pedestal seats which gave a place
for the rear passengers to put their feet.

By the way, it was not underpowered like some of today's Japanese cars. I
doubt you could find any car today as underpowered as the Reliance.
