Why do you prefer Michael Steele over Jim Webb? You don't need to go
searching for a smart answer... just give me a couple of simple
reasons.
Even if all you can come up with is "party affiliation". I admit that
I used party affiliation to vote DEMOCRATIC down the line in 2006.
Nothing to hide there right?
I happened to like Cardin's views on several issues over Steele's, and
I contributed to Webb even though he's in VA. I like his style, his
dedication to this war (which gives him more right to protest it), and
besides I think George Allen is an utter spoon-fed nepotistic MORON.

Despite my better judgement I will give you some fodder to use against
me later. I like Steele because he represents something outside of the
mold. He is a conservative black man that is articulate and witty. He
isn't a straight party man and seems to have some morals. He has risen
through the ranks and doesn't use his race as a weapon or try to be a
victim.
Jim Webb is a boorish, rude man who uses whatever chance he gets to be
abrasive towards others who disagree with him. He has no platform
other than his stance against Iraq. He may be well qualified in
matters related to military since he was a former UnderSecretary(?) of
Navy but I'm not sure he understands how the rest of politics works. I
am against his "cut and run" philosophy and just generally don't like
his appearance or attitude.
Regardless, I am stuck with him for the next six years as my Senator.
I'm definetly no fan of John Warner and will continue to vote against
him in primaries and general elections. Since Virginia has open
primaries you should come down here next time and we'll go out and vote
together and have some dinner.

You pretty much described webb. I'd bet he'll be stood up in the corner
fairly well soon with the pointed hat on.

Isn't he the porn star? Wait, he is the guy that wrote a porn book, an
entire series of them actually. He is unelectable outside of Virginia.
