Sacre bleu! who left the window open in the first place?

If this guy had any REAL problems (like hangnails or running out of
toothpaste) he'd probably hang himself!
It's hard to imagine someone who gets sufficiently exercised about spots on
his car seat to create a whole web page about it. I'll bet he's single,
because few women would tolerate such a jerk.

Hello, For a vehicle with 23.000 $ I think of being entitled to a clean new
car, and without defect at exit of factory.
In France when a new car is bought it is new and clean and does not comprise
a defect of design.
bye bye

Marco, you bought the car new and it had spots on the seat? Why did you
accept it in this condition? Didn't you see the spots when you first saw
the car?

Ah, well, Marco, you have never mentioned this before.
Between my..<AHEM> French and your English (which is a bit better than my
French, btw...) I gathered you bought the car and THEN something happened
to make the seats get spotted.

In this case, I think it may have been the Detailing department that may
have caused the damage, since all cars come from the factory wrapped in
plastic. It may have been that in prepping the car for sale, either the
detailer used the wrong chemical, or allowed the wrong chemical to drip on
the seat.

Unfortunately, you have been telling US about this for at least a year.
Have you called Toyota in Europe, or just gone to the dealer? Seats cost
about $1200US, more in Francs, I'm sure. They won't want to replace them,
but if you can somehow PROVE it was the dealer's neglect that damaged the
seats, then you may be able to have it (them?) replaced.

Good luck. Either that, or take it to a GOOD detailer that has the
cleaning supplies and equipment to do a GOOD job, and see if that works.
