Which reminds me of that other RR anecdote... Man writes in to a
motoring magazine, some time in the mid-1900s. He enthuses about
the wondrous quality of design and construction, how the car runs
so smoothly and quietly you can actually hear the dashboard clock
ticking as you cruise along...
So Rolls-Royce contact the man privately, asking when it would be
convenient for them to replace the faulty clock.
