Agreed, you'll waste hours faffing with it. Give it a 12-24hr charge
with an old-school battery charger (not hte smart ones as they often
assume theres no battery there if its THAT dead). If that doesnt revive
it (it will likely still be knackered and bearly hold charge) its
deader than a dead thing. Batteries are fairly cheap and you'll wonder
why you spent time messing with it when you get a new one!
