This should be interesting. dbu and Snott from Florida should be apoplectic
by later this evening.

If you're too stupid to figure it out, it's none of your damned business.

What? As in how she got pregnant, you mean? Nope, don't know; apparently
they're not letting that particular cat out of the bag. Wasn't her partner,
though. ;-)

Well, it's actually no one's business but hers - & her partner's. But there
is more than one possibility. If donor sperm - person she knows, non-IDed
donor, for example...

Reproductive issues are none of ANYBODY'S business. Even the most innocent
questions like (parents to son/daughter) "When will there be some
grandchildren?" should be met with disdain, and maybe even a pie in the
face.

True. But, in reality, how often is that question asked, or how often are
hints along that line (sometimes repeatedly) made? A *lot*. To the great
annoyance of the recipient(s)!

There are so many ways to respond to these questions! Woman, responding to
that question from a female friend: "Baby? Soon, actually. And, I'm sure
it'll look just like your sweet husband!"

I don't recall that we ever got asked that. However, we were the first of
our circle of college friends to have children and we were asked, "What went
wrong?" That's pretty annoying, too.
And if you have four (we do), sometimes you get asked something similar to,
"Do you know anything about sex?" The appropriate answer is, "Yes,
obviously."
The one thing that really gets me is relative strangers - or even friends -
touching my wife's stomach. It's creepy and it's annoying. I absolutely
hate that and my wife likes it even less.

I don't blame her! Talk about invasion of personal space. (OTOH, I realize
that different people have different touchy-feely quotients, & those with
the higher ones probably don't think a thing of it.)
