Double - check camshaft timing.
Check to make sure that the vacuum hoses are connected properly and that
there are no vacuum leaks (use a vacuum gauge to make sure there is at least
14 or more in. Hg at idle.
Make sure there are no leaks in the intake between the air filter housing
and the throttle body.
Check ignition base timing and make sure that timing is advancing as engine
RPM increases.
