For some twenty plus years the world has been passing Ford and GM by with
better quality and designs. Instead of paying attention when they had the
chance, they continued along, business as usual, and consequently are in
real danger of becoming extinct.
I've no intention of buying their products but I hate to think of what their
demise would mean to continued quality, if their is no reason to compete.

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cuz I get better lookin each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin' the best that I can
I used to have a girlfriend
But I guess she just couldn't compete
With all these love starved women
Who keep clamoring at my feet
Well I probably could find me another
But I guess they're all in awe of me
Who cares I never get lonesome
Cuz I treasure my own company
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cuz I get better lookin each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
But I'm doin the best that I can
I guess you could say I am a loner
A cowboy all locked up and proud
Well I could have lots of friends if I wanted
But then I wouldn't stand out in a crowd
Some folks say that I'm egotistical
Hell I don't even know what that means
I guess it has something to do with the way
That I fill out my skin tight blue jeans

In defense of Alotta ***ina I would say the second use of "their" by
Ron was not a typo. A typographical error would be something like
"thert" or "tjere" or "yhere". He clearly used "their" in a
grammatically incorrect way.
In defense of Ron I would say Alotta ***ina is nitpicking the
inadequacies of others, perhaps to hold himself up as a superior person
due to his lack in some other part of his life.

Typographical error
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Typo)
A typographical error, or typo, is a mistake made during the typing
process. The term includes errors due to mechanical failure or slips of the
hand or finger, but excludes errors of ignorance.
Typing "their" instead of "there" is not a typo, it is, as Wiki so
succinctly puts it, an "error of ignorance".

***ina is just another sniveling far left-wing extremist who hates GWB
and will nit-pick anyone who he/she deterimines is not in agreement with
him/her. Do I have that right ***ina old boy/girl?

As we seem to have a language-related sub-thread going here, may
I address our collective attention to the concept of "ad hominem
argument"? A lot of that goes on in this NG: dissing a person's
opinion on everything, because their politics are the wrong hue.
Unless, in your usual wacky way, you were being humorous. :-)

Actually, I think his political leanings defy easy categorization. That has
an effect on you which is analogous to throwing a laptop computer into a
bucket of water.

Is that what it's called now? Humor? I think 100 special ed teachers would
disagree, after reading a collection of dbu's compositions.

Gee...nobody cares but you. I have been known to Fat Finger the keyboard,
and sometimes my Spell Checker substitutes the wrong word for what I meant.
It's Usenet for cripe's sake. Think I proofread everything I send?
People know what I mean when I make a mistake.
