Please tell me that all of you KNEW we had even more troops in Iraq at one
point than we will have after upping the current count by 20k. Please tell
me you guys knew that.
Please tell me you know that we had 140k troops in Iraq on Nov. 30, and the
addition of 20k more will push that number to 160k, and that you knew that
as recently as mid-2005 we had more than 160k troops.

Does that mean the new surge of about 20K won't work either?

It means the additional troops won't work unless the rules of
engagement are changed.

No, that is not what it means.
It only means that increasing by 20K is nothing to complain about.

Unless... it still doesn't work & even more troops are killed.

If you think soldiers are objects made of plastic, than there's nothing to
complain about. In my mind, it's equivalent to a felony to use human beings
as part of an ill-conceived experiment. Hitler did that. Bush is doing it.

Nobody's doubting there's a problem with Islamic terrorists. The issue is
that Bush thinks soldiers are toys, not humans.
