More troops needed in Iraq...

.....right NOW! Then, things like this wouldn't happen.

ATHENS, Greece (CNN) -- Several senior U.S. State Department officials say
the initial assessment of Friday's attack on the U.S. Embassy in Athens is
that it was launched by "locally grown leftists," not al Qaeda nor another
foreign element.

No one was injured in the rocket attack at about 6 a.m. (0400 GMT) on the
fortified building, and the only visible damage was a shattered window.
(Officials describe blast as "terrorist attack" )

Greek Public Order Minister Vyron Polydoras said a claim that a group called
Revolutionary Struggle orchestrated the attack is being investigated after
an unidentified person called the embassy and said it was responsible. (Map)

A U.S. State Department official said Greek authorities were taking
seriously the caller's claim about the group -- believed to be a spin-off of
Greece's far-left terrorist group November 17 -- but have not confirmed it.

The official said the claim was made by a group that "calls themselves an
heir of November 17."

The anonymous phone call came hours after a top police officer confirmed
that a rocket-propelled grenade crashed into the third floor and smashed a
front window of the embassy.

Police immediately sealed all entrances and exits and cordoned off the block
around the compound, stalling traffic in morning rush hour.

Greek and U.S. counterterrorism officials have been searching the embassy
grounds and nearby buildings for evidence.

An {OT} would be appreciated if you start a topic.

The Greeks are fully capable of taking care of their own business.

Okay, let's put Jimmy Carter on to it. He knows how to protect
embassies.

century and a half was meant to mean half-a-century.

You are posting about troops in Iraq in a Toyota group and you are
asking somebody else to get some common sense?

Wow. Are you really that stupid? There are lots of groups about
troops, Iraq and Bush. And this ain't one of them.

Again, are you really that stupid?

cordially, even to real morons,

Why are you reading my posts or any that are clearly marked as
off-topic? Are you a troll?

This proves my point in another thread that we can not possibly protect
against any and all possible attacks. The ranks of the radicals will
continue to swell until moderate Islam says "enough."

It is incumbant upon the moderates within Islam to rein in on the radical
element, or push the radicals aside where they are no longer able to hicde
within the civilian population.

Radical Islam is nothing more than a pack of cowards. If they want to fight
for their cause, they should put on a uniform and fight in trenches like
brave soldiers do. They cowar behind women and children, and hide in houses
of worship, then demand to be treated under the Geneva Convention, while
carrying out the very rules of engagement that the Convention says is
illegal. THEY fight an illegal war, then demand legal protections.

And, the liberal left around the globe asserts that it is Bush that has
acted illegally. Gosh, this attack came from Greece's far leftists. No
wonder the leftists in America blame Bush ...

How many terrorist "events" have there been in this country since 1975? I
don't need an exact count. Just your personal estimate.

Oh, that's so profound, Jeffy cretin. Did you think of that one all
by yourself? You're so smart...

Volunteering for suicide missions may be a sign of craziness, but it's
hardly proof of cowardness.

In war only fools fight head-on against a more powerful force.
[color=blue]

That's one of the ideas of guerilla warfare, where the objective isn't
just to kill the enemy but to cause so much misery and violence that
the local people end up hating the foreign strangers in military
uniforms, whether they're responsible for it or not. Fair fights
happen only in organized sports.

Do you remember why we attacked Saddam in 1990-91? Because he violated
international law by invading another country unprovoked. GW Bush did
the same in 2003 with Iraq.
