That's what happens when we let Floridians drive here in the winter.

I wonder how many of them were still talking on their cellphones?

If they're not going to hang up and drive when it's sunny, why would a
little snow get them to hang up and drive?
Here's the mystery for me, what on earth do they talk about? I call my dad,
wife, out-of-town kid, it's two minutes of chat and we're wrapped up.
Unless I'm on the phone solving a problem "by wire" (NOT while driving), ten
mintues a day covers all my phone calls. I don't need to time-share my
driving with the phone to get all of my babbling in. My wife will chat on
the phone for a good long while but even then she doesn't see the need to
chat-and-drive.

Did you ever smoke? You get into a habit of lighting up a cigarette
when you sit on the toilet, drink a cup of coffee, get in the car, talk
on the phone, etc. Talking on the cellphone is like smoking, you get
the urge to do it when ou are doing something else. Cellphone usage is
a mental disease !!!

Strange. I can be at a restaurant (like last night) and not be coherently
aware of the conversation going on behind me. But the moment one of them
call out...
BTW, Friendly's royal banana split is up to $4.99 but I think their clam
plate at $8.49 is a great deal. There's so much, we share a plate.
When I was a Cub Scout leader, my co-den leader (who I also worked with)
used to go to Friendly's after pack nights with Ken, the dad of one of the
kids in our den. Ken worked for Ford, so he always had new (< 4 mos old)
Fords, and of course, my co-worker and I always had new (< 4 mos old)
Toyotas). Ken liked driving our Supras and Celica GTS on test rides, we
liked driving Crown Victoria Interceptors on Friday nights.

I don't know. Their desert menu layout is all over the place. I have a hard
time just finding the ice cream flavors.
Back when true 1/2 gallons were the norm, when Friendly's was on sale at the
local market for $2 it cost Friendly's $2.50 to make 'em. I think it was
Friendly's who downsized to 1.75 first and Turkey Hill and Hoods followed
later. Bryers is off my radar. Soupy over-rated stuff.
