OT Hillary wants to nationalize the oil companies

HILLARY: The other day the oil companies reported the highest profits
in the history of the world. I want to take those profits and I want
to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund
alternative, smart energy, alternative and technology that will begin
to actually move us toward the direction of independence. I have to
tell you, I am not running for president to put Band-Aids on our
problems.

Though I have my reservations about the huge oil company profits, this, at
it's base, sounds like what Putin and/or Chavez are doing... nationalizing
the oil industry.

a commie", two-dimensional, black/white, yes/no types, then I want you out
of my world, too. If not, hang out. Actually, I feel political correctness
is the antithesis of comedy. I dated a girl once who did not want to laugh
at any jokes that might offend. Most jokes will offend someone somewhere,
most jokes are about laughing at ourselves and the bizarre attitudes we

she said she's going to take the oil company profits and use them for
other energy. If the government takes the profits away what does that
mean? What about the people who have money invested in oil companies?
They no longer will be able to make money on their investment because
the government confiscated the profits. It's the same as nationalizing.
