Ms. Rice is doing exactly that today. I don't mean today as in "this general
period of time", but TODAY. This day.

Whattya think, scott?

She didn't choose her mission. Your president sent her on the mission. He
says we shouldn't negotiate with terrorists, but that's the mission he
assigned to Rice. Therefore, he is a liar.

In the mind of you Bush-haters he is damned if he does and damned if he
doesn't. On the one hand you say he should be negotiating with
terrorists. Yet when he actually sends someone to see what their lie
is this time you condemn him for doing so. You people are so confused
it's a good thing their is actually a grown-up in charge who can make
decisions.

You missed the point. In *this* discussion, I'm pointing out that he says
one thing and does another. Get it?

I smell a double standard here. You obsess about Clinton, who lied about
sex. You choose to ignore it when your president lies about negotiating with
terrorists.

And who might this 'grown-up' be? I can't think offhand of any people in
the ezecutive branch who fit this description. Starting with the pretzel
snorter, and the kid who plays with guns and shoots his friend.

AFAICT, JSB was pointing out one thing, but ignoring the other issue. He
pointed out that GWB is supposedly against negotiating, yet sent Condi to do
same. He didn't address the issue as to whether or not he agrees - or
disagrees - with the mission.

I didn't read JSB message. I was reading BGM.

will pay closer attention.

I probably should've replied to BGM's post; but by replying to yours, got a
2-for-1.

JSB's msg. is immediately above BGM's - all still quoted; you read one
(which was in response to the other, & therefore indirectly referred back to
it) but not the other?

If our President George W. Bush did it, Joe is against it. If the
President didn't do it Joe tries to blame him for that. My point has
already been made; nothing the President does is good enough for you
extremists so his best option is to do what is right for the rest of
the country.

You are pretending not to understand that last week, your president said one
thing, and this week, he's doing the opposite. Cut that shit out. You're not
doing a good job of covering your tracks today.
