That's a mystery to me. It's not that hard to NOT LOOK at what you don't
want to read. However, there may be health issues which cause problems for
some people. The human brain naturally makes a chemical which causes us to
NOT remember absolutely everything we see all day. Without this chemical,
we'd be unable to focus. There would simply be too much stimulation from all
the sights and sounds. It's suspected that ADHD is related to an imbalance
with this chemical. (Trivia: Marijuana interacts directly with the chemical,
which explain a few things).
Maybe OT filters are for people with an imbalance of this chemical.
