That's not just American, it's also Canadian. One of my favorite long-dead
shows was the TV version of "La Femme Nikita." On that show, there was a
character named "Michael Samuel" who could be fired upon with *no* body
armor by semi-automatic weapons wielded by many enemy spies, and not even
get grazed. He pulls out his Glock and takes them all out.
Don't get me started on the inconsistencies with that show (especially the
medical ones), but I loved it anyway.
