Maybe I'm being way too cynical, but I think he has one drive and
focus - preserve Israel. Yet the standard belief by both left & right
pundits is if we attack Iran, Israel is the first to get hit.
Republicans are using Lieberman's wrangling but as someone else said,
he is too liberal and will be thrown under the bus when he is no
longer an asset. His only value right now is to shift senate control
back to the republicans.
