Transmission Locked with No Power

Help!

My Highlander battery died last night with the vehicle in the garage and
even with the ignition in the "on" position and the brake and shift
buttons depressed it remains locked in PARK.

Needless to say, this makes it difficult to push out and jump start.

Any suggestions out there?

Re: Transmission Locked with No Power

Try using the bypass lock probably located on the transmission hump. Insert
your key, maybe turn it, and the transmission unlocks.
