Gee, I though they were talking about water jugs.
BTW, global warming is not a religion. It is a well-supported theory. Even
President Bush accepts it and accepted the findings of the Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change
It's amazing how few people can separate in their minds 1) the
phenomenon of global warming and 2) whether it is natural or human-
induced - maybe not so amazing given the poor quality of the Left-
biased education system, which allows and in fact encourages the media
to lead everyone around by the nose through the latest "fad" theories,
none of which are backed up by solid science. "Scientists" who offer
up wild theories and suggest drastic actions are treated like rock
stars in the media rather than having their theories examined
critically, no doubt due at least partially to the incompentence of
journalism majors who haven't the foggiest idea of the scientific
method.
There is plenty of empirical evidence that the planet is warming
(http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/Fig.A.lrg.gif), but it is
*NOT* possible to conclude with any certainty that man's activity has
had even a miniscule impact on global temperatures one way or the
other, despite the claims of morons like Al Gore, who would have all
of us (except for him, of course) radically modify our behavior and
worship at the altar of Global Warming. I in fact *agree* that we
could and should all do with less driving and consuming fewer
resources, and put pressure on flagrant environmental violators like
China, but the hypocrisy and nonsensical use of this issue by the Left
for political leverage and to induce alarm and inefficient turbulence
in the economy is sickening.

I disagree....and since it is me....that can be taken to the bank as a
fact.

Very well said and the truth!
I get tickled at the 'religion' of kooks like Al Bore (and several
lefties here).
Seems Mars is heating up. Could it possibly be caused by the Sun?
If Mars is heating up, perhaps, Earth is being warmed a bit by the
Sun?
The left wants 'government' to 'solve' the problem. Does the left
have a way to turn the Sun down a bit?

I am sure you know more about this than George W. Bush, President of the US,
who accepts global warming
(http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/02/20070207-5.html) and the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, just as you know more about the
military in Iraq than retired generals from the first Gulf War.
Or as, I like it, the fingers in ear phenomena.

I never said it did. That is why I said "theory," not "fact."
