It's not dry in my house because we almost never use the heater, and
even when we do, it's a heatpump, so the air doesn't get that warm and
remove much moisture. Our problem with dryness occurs from late
spring until the July monsoon because during that period the humidity
can drop to 5% in the afternoons. But even then we don't have much
problem with static because the carpeting is anti-static and sits
directly on concrete.
