I don't mind their intentions as far as protecting animals, but I don't
go along with them burning down buildings, trashing cars and pouring
paint on someones fur coat. If they want to parade around naked on a
stage somewhere that's ok too, but criminal damage to property is out
and that is where I don't like these people.

I believe in the fur coat thing. It points out a nasty example of hypocrisy.
People can kill animals for their hair. But, if I kill the stray dog that
just crapped in my garden for the 18th time in a month, the cops get all
twitchy. Maybe if I made something useful out of the dog's hair, the law
would not apply.

And, PETA *has* burned down some unbelievably ugly McMansions. I think lots
of people secretly wish they could do that.
