Interesting idea:
"In evolutionary biology today, macroevolution is used to refer to any
evolutionary change at or above the level of species."

Two questions:

1) How is "the left" involved with this idea? I haven't read much about this
evolutionary theory, but also, I don't see it making headlines. Why is it a
political concept? It seems the term's been around since the early 1900s.

2) Proven or not, is it OK with you if people think about it? If not, why
not? How is this idea "in your face"? In other words, how does its existence
affect you personally?
