I'm not sure that this will help, but they have an app that gives a
general location. The Starlet didn't have any results for 1998 model,
but the Tercel does. I don't know if they are the same. They say that
the connector will be under the dash to the left of the steering column.

Suppose it doesn't really help that the starlet is RHD not LHD.
Assuming it's under the dash to the *right* of the steering column, I have
found a blue plug, but it doesn't have 16 pins... wtf?

OBD2 connector location in 1998 Toyota Starlet?

As stated, looking for the location of the OBD2 plug in my car.

Anyone lucky enough to find theirs who can tell me where it is?
