05 Echo - CD Player Setup

I have a 2005 Echo with the factory CD player installed - it has 31806
printed on the front.

It works great except for the fact that it automatically loops and
replays the CD at the end.

Is there any way to stop this?

Thanks

Do you have it in repeat mode?

So it would seem - but I can't figure out what buttons to hit to turn that off.

On some of the Fujitsu Ten players it is one of the buttons on the radio
channels.

Thanx Gord, hope the o/p find it amusing too :)

I thought you have a Corolla? we have an 03 and just swap the OE head
unit with an aftermarket one and what a difference.....the factory deck
sounded dull and underpowered. glad i made the change, its well worth
it.

Yes...there's three Toyotas in my driveway. Two Corollas and a
Matrix...good vehicles all.

Yes. Turn off the radio at the end of the CD. You may also switch to
the tuner or tape instead.

The auto-repeat is a built-in function. No way to turn it off. What
did expect it to do? Turn off?

Actually - yes I did. That's been my past experience with CD players
although I'll admit, not car players.

"Repeat" repeats the track, not the entire CD.

My '03 also wraps back to track 1 after the end. Is that a bug or a
feature?

I put an aftermarket Kenwood CD player in my Echo, and it does the
same thing, as does my Sienna's OEM player and my
daughters JVC CD player.
