Cinco De Mayo is probably the biggest holiday celebration in LA than
anything else. Too bad, it is not an official holiday here.

Biggest Chicago holiday: Day the Cubs win the World Series - until then, St.
Patrick's Day when they dye the Chicago River Green (with environmentally
green dye of course)

Biggest San Francisco holiday: Gay Pride Day

Biggest holiday in New England: day the lakes freeze over for ice fishing &
ice racing
