Mainly it's the fact that bush is an Idiot, can't speak American to save his
life and, therefore, even if it was a good idea, no one could know.

You are an example of someone who can speak Merican?
Re: OT - So called liberal media help Bush lie about Social Security plan
By the way did you listen to his press conference? At one point his mashed
up sentence came out something like "we've got to keep the terrorists out of
harms way".LOL Do you remember the comedian from thrity years ago who used
to mess up sentences with the wrong words? Maybe Bush has a future in
stand-up after politics.

Did you see his wife at the correspondents dinner. Now that was
FUNNY!
I don't mind GWB stumbling around...he gets the job done and irritates
all the liberals. Now I call that a supreme accomplishment!

I don't either, and it is refreshing not to have some snob bastard up
there talking down to all the little people.
Go Bush and who cares if you stumble once in a while, we all do it,
we're human not machines.

Yeah, I hate it when the President of the United States sounds educated...
I'm sure your invitation to the White House is in the mail...

speak to us and tell us what they are going to do for the country. Ha!
They can do no better. They have their followers like you. So follow

Re: OT - So called liberal media help Bush lie about Social Security plan
No but that was a good guess.
The guy I am thinking of never had a spot as a regular like Pat Paulson did.
He was strictly standup guest shots on Carson and Sullivan. He was stocky
but not fat, happened to wear a hearing aid in one ear if I remember
correctly. He would give long lectures with big words that were often the
wrong word.
I went thru a bunch of Sullivan episodes at
http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-1156/epid-106961
but didn't see him. Ran out of time for now but I'll try to get back to it.
Otherwise I may never sleep again.
