Anyone else sick & tired of all the posts regarding American politics?

Any chance these could be posted in an appropriate group? WTF would I want
to read about American politics in a Toyota newsgroup FFS.

FYI: When posting further articles that are not related to Toyotas,
please preface your subject with "OT" so that casual readers not
interested will know to avoid your posting.

I don't think anyone minds the *occasional* off topic post, but it's getting
stupid with the shear amount of political postings.

(thought you may complain, as you're one of the biggest culprits)

There's no reason whatsoever for your country to invade ours - you simply
couldn't deal with our 'roundabouts', and our roads have things known as
'bends' in them ;-)

You could just bomb & shoot us, but I think you did enough of that in both

I've driven there for a total of over 3000 miles in two trips.

I LOVE roundabouts. Very handy. Perhaps I could "merc" myself out to
our military as an advisor. ;-)

But you're not addressing the main point of the original post.
Intentionally, no doubt.

It's a _huge_ disservice to people who read this NG in order
to get info about Toyotas to continue to post all the political
crap. There are many other appropriate forums to do that.
_Huge_ numbers of places. There are relatively few other places
to discuss Toyotas.

I sometimes wonder if the people in this NG who are involved
with the moderated Yahoo forum are intent on killing this NG
in order to get more "membership" in their forum.
Do they get any consideration _of any kind_ for it?
Becoming a "member" and having to "log-in" should not
be necessary to share information on a subject.
