OT: Jackson gets off.

Personally I think this Jury screwed up, big time. How many times do we have
to put up with this BS? I guess as long as these irresponsible idiots for
parents send their little boys over to sleep with him we will have to listen
to this every 10 years or so. I'm sure he's having a big celebration
tonight, and I'm sure all the little boys are flocking on over getting in
line for Jesus Juice and pornography.

Good God.

Considering the source of the accusations, I am not surprised he was found
not guilty on all charges. That family is even creepier than MJ himself.

The evidence was weak to start. It was a just verdict. Remember joshy
nobody is sent to jail including you unless you would be found guilty
beyond reasonable doubt. Reasonable doubt.....get it? I don't know how
to make it any more simple for you, sorry.

Bad choice of words in your topic title, Josh; wasn't that the reason he was
on trial? :-) Seriously, though, he'll be very stigmatized, just as OJ is.
Remember when OJ was everywhere? Now he's invisible. Acquittal doesn't mean
freedom. Jackson's guilt was never much of an issue to me. Those parents
were morons to let a grown man 'play with' their children overnight. WTF
were they *thinking*?! Clearly Jacko needs intense mental help, but he won't
get it. His career is pretty much over in this country, I think; but he's
never had a popularity problem in other countries. I feel a bit of a loss
for a star that I once dreamed of growing up and marrying. I had to pass on
that when that guy became a woman...

Sorry but there was undeniable evidence against O.J. He got off because
of a VERY favorable jury. O.J. was a dead man walking until he got the
jury he got. Luck man that O.J.

I replied to your post above Nat!! Before I saw this thread.

Yep, he is weird but being weird doesn't make you guilty. Evidence
does that.

Hmmm I'm no legal expert, but the prosecution looked decidedly incompetent to
me

We'll see. While he was crying 'poverty' he was offered a tour of Asia,
where he was immensly popular. Halfway through the finalizing, when venues
were booked, tickets on sale and eager fans waiting, he backed out.

Wonder if he's still popular in Japan...probably not with promoters...

If he needs cash he can always sell the catalogue of Lennon-McCartney
songs. Paul has about $60B...

He's already sold off some of that, and yes, he's still enormously popular in
not only Japan, but many places in Europe

No shit Sherlock! _reasonable doubt_ not /a/ doubt. The evidence was not all
that weak, it was applied in a weak way. They did a pretty shitty job and
the Jury failed to see through it all.

Agreed. Even so, it's sickening to see OJ out on the golf course free to
play a game.
