OT Al Qaeda in Iraq....say it isn't so....Democrats...
Top Zarqawi aide captured in Iraq's Mosul: US
AFP - 1 hour, 42 minutes ago
MOSUL, Iraq - A top aide to Al-Qaeda front man Abu Musab al-Zarqawi
has been captured in Iraq's northern city of Mosul, the US military
revealed. Mohammed Khalaf Shakar, also known as Abu Talha, is
"Zarqawi's most trusted operations agent in all of Iraq," a military
statement said Thursday. "This is a major defeat for the Al-Qaeda's
terrorist organisation in Iraq. Zarqawi's leader in Mosul is out of
business," said US Air Force Brigadier General Donald Alston.

He came in during the war, and there were more Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia
and several other Mid East countries before 9/11. Says
absolutely nothing about any Iraq ties to 9/11, try again.

Who ever said there was a connection between Iraq and 9/11?
Certainly the President never said anything like that. Apparently
you are buying into the deceptive effort of those who are trying
to separate the war in Iraq from the worldwide war with Islamic
terrorists, for political gain. While stating that there is 'no
connection to Iraq and 9/11' is a true statement it is actually
an effort to deceive those not up on the facts. Although the
9/11 commission could find no evidence of a connection between
Iraq and 9/11, it did find plenty of evidence of a connection
between Iraq and numerous groups of radical Islamic terrorist,
including Al Qaida. The president did say on many occasions that
we will seek out and kill terrorists WHOEVER they are, WHERE ever
they are, and WHO ever harbors terrorists. The includes Saudi
Arabia, Iraq, Germany, Spain, Indonesia and a half dozen other
countries. We are not only at war with Al Qaida but all radical
Islamic terrorists groups Do some research, WBMA.

It wasn't presented as good news, it was presented as somehow
justifiying the war.

He moved into Turkey, Iran and then Iraq in 2002 after the US attacked
terrorist
bases in Afghantistan in 2001 and after 9/11. He also moved around a lot
before, most likely did stops in Iraq, but also lebanon, Iran, Syria to
name a few. Also he's not Al Qaeda he's Jund al-Shams. There are
some ties to Al Qaeda, but most consider his a rival organization.
Last of all, he was not involved in 9/11, at least there is no
evidence of it, as the 9/11 report will also show.
I'm sure you only get your info from right wing propaganda
sites, but here's a BBC article. I have read several on him, including
some from the National review, none of which can place him in Iraq before
9/11. Maybe you can?

Bold faced fits. It implies impudence, which dizziot possesses in
spades. And he IS wrong about everything except his signature,
though he misplaces is in some of his posts.
