It wouldn't be the first time. I attended a rally last summer in front
of the DNC. The RNC dorks send this poor kid to the rally in a
"Flipper" costume (in August no less). Well, these real ghetto type
guys who happen to work for the DNC walk up to the kid, and one of them
puts his arm around him... says, "you know what man, there's a lot of
black folks around here"... hilarious!!!
By the end of the rally, Flipper is holding up a John Kerry for
President sign, while the ghetto DNC dude (who shall remain nameless)
still has his arm around him. The web guys took a picture and put it
on the blog homepage (note: the RNC never had a blog on their site...
what with the prescreening and all).
The funniest part was, that the "ghetto" dude (big football jersey, hat
turned around backwards, real stocky, etc) was one of the network gurus
for the DNC. But, being a little sheltered RNC intern, Flipper boy
took one look at him and prolly pissed in his costume.
That was priceless. It was worth all of the lame speeches.
