What did they say about it? I stopped watching hardballs with christ st
mattews for his link to the DNC. His show is nothing but a mouthpiece
of the DNC and howard dyno.

They raised the question of why the British and American
administrations have not come out against them if they are in fact
false.

Close, but no cigar. Actually, his son worked on the Dean campaign
back at the end of 2003 through the time when Dean "Jumped the Shark"
with the Dean scream, and subsequently went down in flames.
Besides, he was a grown man... look at George HW Bush! He's whooping
it up in Kennebunkport with Bubba right now! You don't hold that
against W, do you?

There definitely was some DNC-inspired feel-good bullshit emanating
from Hardball during the 2004 campaign... but you should be happy for
that, since it tricked a lot of those very college kids to stay at home
and hit the gravity bong instead of voting on election day.
Marybeth Cahill (Kerry campaign manager) is a snivelling moron. I
blame her, not Hardball.
It appears that Chris Matthews actually likes our old Maverick buddy
John McCain anyway.

Why should they?
Who would believe them?
How can you be against something that does not exist?

Well, you would, for a start. You already appear to believe they're fakes
and that's without any government denial at all. You appear to think this
journalist is making up these memos out of whole cloth, without any apparent
evidence.
Think how much more support the "fakes" idea could get with a simple denial
from a properly placed source in the British Government.

If fake, they should be denounced to promote honesty as a social good, if
nothing else. I know, I know: the truth for truth's sake is alien to you.
If they're fakes, why tolerate a liar? If they're fakes, the journalist
should be held to account. If they're fakes, why tolerate the scandal?
This isn't winning Blair's government any friends. It didn't cost him the
recent election but Blair does appear to have lost some seats in Parliament
due to the publication of the Downing Street Memo.
If the memos aren't being denounced as fakes, it's because they're real.

Let's see; reason and facts entirely refuted by "horse hockey."
So well done, Scott. You should be proud of your intellectual prowess..
