For those who claimed Delay was toast, tough luck:
Firm Says House Lawyers Approved Payments for Trips
By PHILIP SHENON - New York Times
WASHINGTON, June 20 - A law firm under scrutiny for its role in
arranging overseas trips for members of Congress says House ethics
lawyers advised the firm several years ago that it could pay for some
Congressional travel, an assertion that may bolster the argument of
Representative Tom DeLay that he did nothing wrong in accepting lavish
trips organized by the firm's star lobbyist.

HEY WAIT A MINUTE bubba. I thought you guys were against letting
crooks off on technicalities.
Senator Tom DeLay (Republican, Texas, mired in ethics controversy)
still bought and sold himself to the greediest corporate lobbyist
bidder. Bunch of star fuckers.
Here lemme quote this for you again, and tell me if you don't feel
dirty:

After all, he was ENTITLED to those lavish trips. Isn't that what he
was ELECTED to do? Poor guy... after all the times he took it in the
donut, seems like we'd give him a break!

The democrats will expend much energy on this dead horse issue. The
public don't care and by the time election rolls around the only people
talking about it will be christ mattews on hardballs, (ratings are in
the dumper) and a couple of the almost retired democrat higherups such
as Biden and sir kennady,, LOL

Let's hope so. I want them to continue their obstructionist ways so
as to educate the sheeple.

Can you believe Biden is talking about running? Yes, the "I think I'm
more intelligent than you", master plagiarist, Biden. I'll bet he
thinks most people forgot the 1988 revelations about his nihilistic
political ethos.

It's pretty comical when the right-wingers parrot
the discredited campaign rherotic of Mike Dukakis,
of all people. Plagiarizing is presenting someone
elses work as your own original work. The Dukakis
smear against Biden was the first and only time
that a political campaign speech has ever been
considered "original work."
Biden paraphrased a spech by Kinnock. Big deal.
no other politician has ever been expected to
come up with "original" campaign speeches --
especially not the "great paraphraser" Ron Reagan.
Even the Dukakis "smear" tape only showed a paragraph
or two, because it was all they could show that even
remotely showed any similarities betweeen Biden's
and Kinnock's speeches ... and even at that, the
wording and context was quite different.
So, remember to vote for your idol and role model,
Mike Dukakis, since you believe so strongly in his
campaign bullshit!
