OT - Why a timetable for leaving Iraq makes sense

The Bush idiots have made one mistake after another. Maybe they should
listen finally. Bush says that if we set a timetable the insurgents will
lay low and attack after we leave. So let them lay low for a year.
Meanwhile we rebuild the infrastructure, rebuild the Iraqi police and
defense forces and when the insurgents attack they lose big time. And if
they don't lay low we cancel the timetable for exit. How hard is that to
understand. Oh, I forgot, Bush is in charge.

Government appeal to the WORLD for help.

Then you have an instant coalition, and we can go back in with some
real help.

liberators, but as people who want to help.

its own against the snipers and murderers that are streaming in from across
her borders with neighboring countries.

The problem you are not addressing is that we are already working to rebuild
the infrastructure, the police, and the defense forces. The snipers and
murderers are working just as hard to tear the infrastructure down, and
destabalize the police and defense forces. How hard is that to understand?

I really don't give a flying fuck whether Iraq stands or falls. All I
care about is that they don't do it on my dime. If they want our help,

We are rebuilding their infrastructure because that is what countries do
when they help other countries overthrow evil dictators. If we didn't
overthrow the evil dictator, we would still help rebuild the infrastructure
because that is what compassionate society does for those that are less
fortunate.

most programs. He has decreaded the rate of increase in some of those
programs, but he hasn't actually cut any funds.

Meanwhile, salaries, durable goods, the GDP in general quickly outpaces
