Who exactly is Nathan, anyway? He was a prophet, and delivered an
important oracle saving the Kingdom for Solomon, the bastard son of
Bathshe'ba and himself (David had Bathshe'ba's husband Uriah was rubbed
out in battle through "omission of assistance")...

Why is there such sparse attention paid to Nathan, and where did he
come from? Why did David trust Nathan to anoint Solomon as the next
king?

Was Nathan David's Gift from God? His conscience? His "main man"?

We do know one thing for sure... it was Nathan who coined the popular
phrase "YOU DA MAN" (II Samuel 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art
the man...)

At the very least, Nathan was indeed David's man.
