ALLAWI (THROUGH TRANSLATOR): Dear brothers, the cabinet has almost
finished its agenda, and we will present it to you and it will be ready
within a few days.
And in a few days, Iraq will radiate with stability and security. And
we will work positively with the neighbors and the friends, and we will
reciprocate by two steps for every step given to Iraq by others and
will work toward the security and tranquility and peace of our people.

Speaking of the oxymoronic (bush & speech), anyone know whether Gen. John
Abizaid's been fired yet?
I hope Bush talks about spreading democracy in the mideast. Like in Lebanon
and Iran. That would be entertaining. I wonder if he thinks about it
everyday.

I always wonder if any bulbs were lit up in the White House after the
first World Trade Center bombing. Seems to me it would have been a wake
up call and the subsequent terror attacks and even Iraq could have been
avoided way back then.

There sure as hell should have been back in the Clinton regime when the
first bombing of WTC happened.

Let me get this straight -- so then, you actually blame Bill Clinton
for 9/11?
I supposed if the FBI/CIA were doing their job during the Bush/Clinton/Bush
administrations things might have worked out differently.

Maybe but if we continue hiring idiots for leaders, we'll never know because
neither will be fixed. Maybe it's the job description, the money, the work.
I don't know but we just can't seem to attract competent leadership.
At least Clinton did not give out medals to the screw ups.

True, he let them stay on, which in my opinion was a BIG mistake. He
should have accepted Tennets customary resignation and hired Goss right
off the bat.

So Bush kept his moron secretary of defense and promoted his Russian
professor to secretary of state.

You left out Rummy (the Butcher of Bagdhad), and that abusive moron he
nominated for nominated for Ambassadorship to the UN.
Oh you did mention Rummy.
The only good man Bush had on his staph was Colin Powell. And even
though Powell was a very Loyal Soldier, even he had to get the hell out
of that psychotic orgy of nepotistic, nihilistic groupthink.
