Personally, I resent the implication that Americans don't already support
the troops. Especially those who don't feel the need to advertise the fact
with tacky car ornaments and the like. I also think the speech should've
been delivered from the White House. Instead, the bottom feeder insisted on
politicizing military families who've recently lost members and then
preaching to a captive audience complete with staged applause.

I resent people that think you can't support the troops and oppose the
war and Bush. I have all the respect in the world for our troops and
support them in every way, but asking them to die in a useless,
meaningless war, with no real direction, is hardly supporting the troops.
I line in NC and a local station interviewed family military members at the
base about the Bush trip and whether it would raise morale. Consensus was a
resounding "No".

I would suggest that when you see one of the service men that
have returned from fighting the war on radical Islamic terrorist,
you first thank him, then ask him what he thinks of what he was
doing as part of that war. I have yet to encounter
a single one, of the hundreds to whom I have spoken, that is not
proud of what we are doing to execute that war. You can not
possibly support the troops if you don't support the mission in
which they are involved.
You were obviously have never been in the military or you would
know troops are not to show favor to the CIC. The applause, as
those in the ranks have said when interviewed, was spontaneous,
when the President refereed to that particular group in his
speech.

hah... well you prolly guessed that I would be one of the last morons
to have a stupid yellow ribbon magnet on my car ... I support our
troops with thousands in tax dollars yearly.
the thing about the site... though, is that you can type in notes of
support to the soldiers, and get involved in other ways.
Just because the brass at the top is clueless, we still need to show
those kids that we're behind THEM.

Because he lives in darkness.
Truly a sorry case.

Well that is obvious, it can't get ANY higher. LOL
Why do you guys keep making $#it up. Don't you realize there are
too many places for the folks to get information other than from
the left media, that you can't get away with that crap anymore?
Bedsides everyone in the county knows somebody in the military

radical Islamic terrorists.

Well, the borderline retards that make up the right do have a
difficult time understanding such complexities...

100%
I think that the right-wingers think that cutting veteran's benefits,
like Bush is doing, is supporting the troops.
Liberal media in NC..... you've got to be kidding. Do you perhaps remember
that NC elected Helms?

Bushes entourage started the applause. The few soldiers who joined in were
being polite as ordered. The whole incident would've been easily missed
since monotone, blank-stare tends to put people to sleep. I struggled
through the entire thing hoping for some light. Unfortunately, more of the
same crap including many references to the known untrue 9/11-Iraq
connection. As I said, he should've given our people a break and stayed at
the White House.

Do some research and perhaps you will not look so stupid so
often..
The President NEVER said there was a connection between Iraq and
9/11. What he said, as did the Congressional resolution in
October of 2002 that granted him the power to go after terrorist
WHEREVER they were, was that there indeed WAS a connection
between Iraq and Al Qaida an several other radical Islamic
terrorists. Your continuing to say otherwise makes you look
stupid and unaware of the facts.
