Could be. Personally I'm hoping for Ted Olsen.

And quickly. I'd love to see the idiots on the left try to stop
that nomination.

Stomp his feet, hold his breath, and....

....wait...he's already done that, again and again.

He's certainly good for a laugh.

Listen up......Bush is selecting Lannie Guinier................

That will make the far left wing radical extremists jump for joy and
vote for Bush, LOL..

Ted Olson would be my choice, but Mike is right, before Bush leaves in
three and a half years and the next Republican takes over, most likely
McCain, Bush will have appointed at least two high court judges and one
of them will be latino.

I agree. The AG is definitely the front-runner.

Thank Me! I Voted for Clinton-Gore!

Greetings, Everyone!!

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for
Clinton-Gore" So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my
"Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica
Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick.
Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 and 10 year olds about oral sex. I had
really planned to wait until they were older to discuss it with them,
but now they know more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place
especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to
know is what the meaning of "is" is. It really is great to know that
certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the
other one involved does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new
generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie "Wag
the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look
graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and
John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th
Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying
about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonments
from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal
convictions (so far) in the other "Clinton" scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our
foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully
disguised as necessary trips.

9. Thanks for leaving our country vulnerable to the 9-11 attacks by
cutting the heart out of our intelligence agencies. Thanks for the
political correctness, so that we can't profile Middle-Eastern
terrorists as opposed to 80-year-old nuns.

10. Thank you for involving our armed forces in foreign conflicts where
there are NO American interests: Somalia, Haiti and Bosnia. Thanks to
your first defense secretary, the late Les Aspin, for denying artillery
and air support to our soldiers in Somalia, resulting in the deaths of
18 of our young men -- tortured, dismembered and dragged through the
streets of Mogadishu by warlords' troops and other assorted thugs.

11. Thanks for having the most corrupt, liberal and incompetent cabinet
in American history: Janet Reno, Mike Espy, Robert Rubin, Robert Reich,
Les Aspin and Lannie Guinier (who -- thank God -- wasn't cleared by the
Senate). There are others.

12. Thanks for the appointment for life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth
Bader Ginsburg -- Hillary's friend -- who wouldn't understand the
precepts of the Constitution if it were engraved on her forehead.

13. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of
convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will love to have them
rejoin society with impunity.

14. Thanks to you and your sticky-fingered wife also for removing White
House silverware, china, art, furniture, & linen that is property of the
citizens of the USA. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like that china
pattern anyway.

15. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for
vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out.

16. I also appreciate your staff helping themselves to items from Air
Force One: china, silverware, linen, towels, ashtrays, soap, pens,
magnetic compass, flight manuals, and more. Removing all of that excess
weight from Air Force One, means burning less fuel, thus less tax
dollars spent on jet fuel. Thanks, Bill & Hill.

17. The U-S taxpayer pays the approximately $10,000 monthly mortgage
payment on the Clinton's home in Chappaqua, New York. How? The Clintons
rent space to the Secret Service who must protect them for life. The
rent? $10,000 a month.

Hey, thanks!

And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar
advance for her upcoming "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $5 million
advance for your memoirs. That's $13 million for two people who for
eight years repeatedly testified under oath that they couldn't remember
anything!

Who says crime doesn't pay!

God bless America and THANK YOU (once again) for spending my taxes so
frugally.

Sincerely,
A U-S Citizen

I had forgotten about this one. Thanks for the memories. :-(

But I do remember Barney Frank illegally subletting his D.C. residence
to a homosexual who used it as a gay brothel.

Your tax dollars at work.

Re: OT JUSTICE SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR RETIRES

In line with this, I just reread the constitution on advise and
consent.

The requirements for a two thirds vote are there in some instances.
(Treaties etc.)

BUT

The Supreme Court appointee does not require anything but advise,
consent, vote.

Olsen would be good. Alberto a bit quirky for me at first look.

What about one of the ones approved for appeals court a couple of
weeks ago?

The two women from California & Texas already had approvals.

Ron

IT is rather astounding.

The Democrats seems to have lost something over the years.

Ahh but you are judging the nominees solely on their skin color, which
is very prejudiced.
