hesitation in 2000 echo after 60k service

My engine typically hesitates first thing in the morning (The first time I
try to accelerate quickly from a stop) and then is fine for the rest of
the day.

I recently got 60k service done (not by the dealership) and the problem
started right after this, so naturally I'm wondering if the place did
something wrong.

I am wondering if this type of hesitation is something that is easy to
identify. If it is inexpensive to fix I may not bother going back to the
place that did the 60k service (because it's not convenient to go there),
but if it'd expensive, I want to go back and make them fix it.

If they used aftermarket ignition parts, those would be a starting point to
check.
